United Electric is currently accepting applications for a knowledgeable, dependable and friendly Journeyman - Electrician. United Electric services Ventura, Santa Barbara and select areas of Los Angeles Counties. We are proud to be family owned and operated since our inception in 1979. United Electric is a fully licensed, bonded and insured contracting company specializing in custom, new and remodel residential and commercial work.Applicant MUST:* Have tool bags and necessary power and hand tools* Be able to lift 50+ lbs* Have experience in the following areas: Troubleshooting Running and terminating all types of line voltage cable Panel Changes Installing 1/2", 3/4" and 1" EMT conduit Installing plugs, switches, smoke detectors, motion sensors, etc. Installing and terminating new circuits Splicing for all types of boxes- lights, switches, plugs etc.* Be self motivated* Work well with others- a team player* Possess good communication skills* Experience in residential and commercial electrical job design* Have a current California DL & own transportation* Possess a current CA Journeyman Certification
